HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

How to Place an Order:
Minnesota T’s Inc. takes great pride in our customer service practices.  Custom garments and accessory orders can be complex and require a more one on one experience.  E-mail is fine, but not to be taken lightly with shopping carts etc. 

At Minnesota T’s, we prefer that you call our customer service representatives so that you can get a better understanding of your needs, wants, and the array of options available.  We do encourage our customers to use the design studio to give us an idea of what you want, this helps us to see what apparel you are most interested in and also assists in art and design.  So unless you have art that is print ready, we prefer to go over every little detail with you personally.

So don’t consider us out of date, just because we’re not a click and shop.  Remember we purposely do this and prefer you to call. 
Be assured Minnesota T’s Inc has been in business since 1992, and we’ll quote you the best prices out there.  We want our customers to be not just happy, but ecstatic about their product. 

Check My Art Service:  Customer supplied art can be analyzed and checked for your product purchase.  A small 10.00 fee will apply.  An art associate will contact you with any changes you may need.  Should you want Minnesota T’s to correct your art for you, art charges will apply accordingly.

SCREEN PRINTING

There is a 1 time design fee of 15.00 per color/screen.  Any time stock designs are not used it is  considered a custom design.  Custom designs will have additional art charges based upon the time involved. ($25.00 per hour - Most designs are charged at 1 hour)  Schools and Educational designs may be granted free art, contact a sales representative for more details.

SUBMITTING YOUR ART WORK
We suggest submitting art by e-mail.  Files must be formatted as an EPS, TIFF, or ILLUSTRATOR CS3 or older file.  JPG or Microsoft Word files are not acceptable for final art.  A JPEG file can be sent to verify the design, colors, or fonts.  Make sure all fonts have been converted to outline paths prior to submitting.

Drawn art work supplied to us must be drawn on 8.5” X 11” typing paper in black and white only; please no halftones or shading.  It is ok to include a color version for the artist to look at for color reference.  Custom art time will be charged to reproduce pencil sketches.

Custom art time costs 25.00 per hour or 25.00 minimum.  If an exact reproduction is not necessary, to save you money, we may have clip art that is similar.  Remember, there is no extra cost to put your mascot on our screen printed designs. 

EMBROIDERY

STOCK DESIGNS
There is a 1 time design fee of 25.00 for each embroidered stock design this includes the digital design setup, but does not include any additional custom text or layout.  Customers can search the internet for available designs at: www.dakotacollectables.com -
ART WORK AND/OR DIGITIZING A COMPANY OR PERSONAL LOGO
Your company or personal logo can be digitized for embroidery.  Please send your custom design to art@mntshirt.com once received a price quote will be returned.  Please include the size that you want the logo to be along with your telephone number for contact. 
STORAGE
All custom designs are stored and kept on file for a minimum of 2 years. 

DIRECT PRINT

What is DIRECT PRINT?  Direct printing is the process of using digital printers.  Direct prints are ideal for 1 -22 prints, multiple colors like pictures of family or images that consist of 6 or more colors.  Direct printing is best when printed on white or ivory shirts.  Minnesota T’s does not direct print dark colored shirts in house.  For direct printing on dark colored shirts, please call 218-829-0029 minimum quantity for dark colored shirt prints are 50 pieces.  You can use any JPG of good quality for direct printing.
SUBMITTING ART FOR DIRECT PRINTING
Please submit your art in 300 dpi.  (note: jpgs submitted in poor quality will print grainy and unclear.  Minnesota T’s is not responsible art.  Please be sure to check your dpi settings prior to submission.)  Be sure to request a size from 3.5 - 11 inches square  See Size Suggestions

VINYL

Vinyl printing is primarily used for names and numbers.  We have several fonts to choose from, since Minnesota T’s cuts your vinyl on demand, there are no additional charges for unique fonts.  Vinyl fonts do however require a block style.  Script, distressed and swirl or alike fonts may not be available, and may need to be screen printed.  Click Here for available font styles for your vinyl needs.

ARTWORK
Art work is not needed for vinyl printing.  Choose a stock font, and your set.

TACKLE TWILL

At Minnesota T’s we offer a wide variety of tackle twill products and design.
The uniqueness of tackle twill in the design that uses cutouts that are sewn on to your garment.  Generally these designs are done in a standard font similar to vinyl.  Due to the nature of tackle twill and the ordering process, please call for a quote at 218-829-0029.  Our courteous customer service representative can walk you through the process and give you the best quote possible.

REVERSE APPLIQUÉ
With reverse appliqué, Minnesota T’s creates intricate designs and stunning engraved photographic images on an unlimited number of garments.

What is Reverse Appliqué?
Reverse appliqué is a technique that involves placing a piece of fabric on the inside of a garment unlike a traditional appliqué, when the fabric is placed on top of the garment. After the embroidery machine sews the outlines and details of the design, the laser cuts the garment fabric precisly where needed to expose the appliqué fabric underneath. The most popular fabrics used for this technique is thermal fabric, T-shirt fabric and sweatshirt fabric.

PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS

Minnesota T’s offers a huge variety of promotional products -  from the tiny pen to the big banners, we have it all. 

All Art for promotional products must be submitted in eps, AI, or vector format.  Only Select products can have jpgs or tiff and if available, must be at least 300 dpi for best quality.  Minnesota T’s is not responsible for customer supplied art in any way.
